I'm on the 159, 6' 185lbs. size 10.5 boots. Took the Aero out on a firm, hardpack day that got softer in the afternoon. The narrower waist width makes it a lively turning deck, it's fast edge to edge and has a very locked in edge feel, not a slashy or playful turner at slower speeds. It really comes into it's own at medium to higher speeds and just rips, feels like a missile once you open her up. It is pretty stiff but doesn't feel hard to manage at all due to the light weight I think. The snap is surprising and the board just comes up under the feet with little effort when I hit any hits at speed. Once again, I wouldn't say it excels a lower speed jumps and sidehits, but if you take some pace into it it fly's. It's not super damp or super chattery, somewhere right in the middle that I feel is perfect. Pretty much an old school feeling snowboard, but super light and with a crazy fast base. I am really excited to get it in some soft snow, it will be a blast for sure. \Thanks Capita, badass snowboard.

I started snowboarding in the 90’s and this shape is very reminiscent of some of the boards I grew up riding. It has a sexy little waist width paired with a really smooth turning progressive side cut, I ride a size 9 boot and the width is perfect. Turns come alive more than ever on this board! Rip the whole mountain and fly off any side hit in your path, the Aeronaut RULES. I am excited to try this board out in some banked slaloms as well. I am 5'10", 145lbs and ride the 157.
